TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Fees for all services are paid for in cash prior to or at the start of scheduled course
work.  All fees are non-refundable.

For your first class visit to IPAC, bring your identification and payment.  You are
also invited to bring your unloaded firearm (no ammunition allowed) for training
purposes.  If you do not have a firearm, you may use one of our models at no
additional charge.

Under no circumstances will ammunition of any type or kind be allowed during the
classroom portion of the course.  Violation of this rule will be grounds for immediate
dismissal and forfeit of all fees paid.  


Permits are issued by the Illinois State Police and are subject to their screening
procedures and protocols.  Successful course work completion does not guarantee
permit issuance and any and all matters pertaining to permit issuance after course
work is complete are to be handled by the Illinois State Police.

As the student, you agree to any and all safety procedures and protocols
established, or as instructed by Illinois Protect and Conceal.  By participating in the
course work conducted by Illinois Protect and Conceal, you agree to indemnify and
hold harmless Illinois Protect and Conceal, its ownership or employees, from and
against any loss, expense, liability, damage, claim (including reasonable attorney
fees), made or brought on behalf of a student for personal injury, including death,
that arises out of the course work, protocols, negligence or students willful
misconduct or omissions.

The student agrees that they must be present for all portions required for their
situation in order to obtain a course work completion certificate.  A completion
certificate will not be awarded if a student fails to attend all required course work.

QUESTION:
What can I expect from the class that I choose?

ANSWER:
You can expect the following from attending our classes for a concealed carry
license:

  • A unique, hands-on experience that includes one on one personalized
    education - we specialize in concealed carry, and how to truly defend
    yourself with a firearm.  We don't rubber-stamp people for a license, we
    care about teaching you responsible concealed carry and ensuring you
    can defend yourself if the need would ever arise.

  • Upon completion of the course, you can expect to have more
    confidence, skill and ability when handling your firearm on a concealed
    basis, in a public setting.

  • A true and more in-depth understanding of the law and how it directly
    pertains to concealed carry and the obligations that come with the
    license.

  • When you take the range training, you can get more personalized and
    intimate training with the instructor, at no additional cost.  This has
    proven invaluable for many of our students.


QUESTION:
What do I need to bring with me to class?

ANSWER:
The doors to class open 5 minutes prior to the scheduled start.  Please ensure
that you are on time.  You will want to bring a form of acceptable valid ID,
such as a drivers license, F.O.I.D. card, State ID or a Military ID.  Of course,
please bring payment and kindly understand that no other person may take
your place in the class.  If you cannot attend your scheduled classroom or
range time, please contact us right away.

Also - you are permitted to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks into class with
you.  


QUESTION:
Is firearm ownership required to take the class?

ANSWER:
Firearm ownership is NOT required for our class! You may use our equipment
at NO additional charge. However, if you have your own equipment we would
encourage you to practice using it.  Please note ammunition is NOT allowed in
class.

QUESTION:
Do I need a F.O.I.D. card to take the class?

ANSWER:
The FOID card is NOT required to take the class! Once you have completed
the concealed carry training we will provide you assistance with the application.

QUESTION:
Does Chicago, or any other city for that matter, regulate concealed carry?

ANSWER:
NO LOCAL MUNICIPALITY CAN ADD OR SUBTRACT TO
ILLINOIS CONCEALED CARRY. In Chicago, this means registration
is NO longer required and there are NO restrictions on high capacity
magazines.

QUESTION:
How old do you have to be to qualify for a concealed carry license?

ANSWER:
Illinois law states you must be 21 years of age to qualify for a concealed carry
license.

QUESTION:
How much range time is needed for concealed carry?

ANSWER:
Your range fee is included in the price.

QUESTION:
Is the Illinois Concealed Carry License recognized by other states?

ANSWER:
Currently the Illinois license is accepted in 26 states.  Meaning we may conceal
carry in those states.  More states will come on board in the near future.
